Not everyone is a fan but I certainly am a fan of a sweet summer cantaloupe with a light sprinkle of salt.
I grew up in Norfolk eating summer fresh cantaloupe close to every day of summer. My mama would drive 15 miles to Williams' Farm weekly to buy fresh melon and corn in season. Thank you Mama for spoiling us in that way.
